Data controller
Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by Öner Hukuk ve Danışmanlık (Attorney Yekcan Öner, Istanbul Bar No. 58271, Ataköy 7-8-9-10. Kısım Mah. E-5 Yan Yol No:6 B Blok D:119, 34156 Bakırköy / İstanbul) as data controller, within the scope described below.
Data we process
Name, phone number, e-mail address and message content shared through the contact form and comment fields; information you provide about your request for legal advice; technically, your IP address, browser information and cookie preference.
Purposes
Responding to your request and scheduling an initial consultation; providing legal services and fulfilling professional obligations; publishing comments and questions; securing the website and meeting legal obligations.
Legal grounds
Article 5/2 KVKK: establishment and performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, establishment and protection of a right, and legitimate interest; otherwise your explicit consent.
Transfers
Your data may be shared with courts and public authorities to the extent required by the legal service, and with domestic hosting and e-mail providers. No data is transferred abroad.
Retention
Contact form records are kept for 2 years, comments for as long as they remain published, and client files for the period required by the Attorneyship Law; data is then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 KVKK you may learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose of processing, know the third parties to whom it is transferred, request correction, deletion or destruction, object to results produced by automated analysis and claim compensation for damage.
Requests may be sent to info@oner.av.tr or in writing to the address above and are answered within 30 days at the latest.
